In a context marked by the advance of neoliberalism, high levels of unemployment and informality, deregulation of labor relations, and loss of labor rights, the platformization of work in Brazil represents an updated expression of the historical forms of labor exploitation. In the case of delivery workers, the subordination to digital platforms has deepened this precariousness, imposing exhausting work hours, reduced remuneration, financial insecurity driven by algorithmic metrics, and daily exposure to several risks (ALVAREZ et al., 2021). These factors, combined with the absence of institutional support from companies, result in negative impacts on the physical and mental health of these workers (IGARASHI et al., 2020). In this scenario, self-management and cooperativism emerge as strategies adopted by workers in an attempt to build alternatives to subordination to platform-companies and their mode of technological control, aiming to establish a healthier management of the labor process in contrast to the control exerted by the platforms.

Therefore, this work aims to do a report of an ongoing master's research that is part of an inter-institutional research project in partnership between the Institute of Psychology/UFRJ and ENSP/Fiocruz, about health and workers' rights on digital platforms. Focusing on a delivery workers' cooperative, the aim is to analyze how the collective dimension can be an agent that produces health as an alternative to the work platform in Brazil. These initiatives are organized around the defense of greater autonomy in the management of work activity, the reappropriation of digital tools, and the collective definition of work rules, central aspects for promoting fairer and healthier working conditions. Using Ergology as a theoretical-methodological framework (Schwartz, 2010) materials from semi-structured interviews and meetings about work with cooperative members will be analyzed. Based on the analysis of partial results, this work aims to discuss the possibilities and obstacles to the full development of the cooperative as one of the alternative paths for health promotion.
